Giuseppe (Joseph) Soccodato is a Managing Director for CohnReznick’s Restructuring and Dispute Resolution practice. Based in the Long Island office, he has 30 years of experience advising, managing and restructuring international companies, critical departments, and worldwide operating divisions. He has deep industry knowledge with manufacturers/distributors/retailers that function in a multi-channel environment, especially those companies that also develop or actively manage their commercial real estate portfolio.
Joseph has extensive expertise in providing services to public, privately-held, and private equity- backed enterprises in areas such as accounting, treasury and banking, financial modeling, sales and vendor management, real estate, construction, supply chain, purchasing, tenant negotiation, risk management, mergers and acquisitions, IT, HR, facilities, legal, audit, external reporting, and international consolidations.
With a focus on strategic and data driven financial analysis, he has successfully managed challenging lender/investor/operating environments, as well as all aspects of potential exit strategies for business owners such as the sale to a strategic competitor, private equity firm, or public offering.
Before joining CohnReznick, Joseph was Chief Financial Officer for one of the country’s fastest growing, full-service specialty grocery chains. He also served as the Global Chief Financial/Operating/Restructuring Officer for the world’s largest manufacturer and distributor of costumes and party supplies, with operations in 14 countries and annual revenue exceeding $400 million.
