John Yin is a partner who leads CIO Advisory Services and ERP Solutions in CohnReznick Advisory’s Technology and Data Practice. In this role, he helps clients with IT strategy and road maps, system selections, and implementations. He advises clients on maximizing their investment in IT and aligning their technology and business strategies.
John has extensive experience in ERP implementations to promote successful project management and organizational change management, enabling clients to achieve their business objectives while mitigating project risk. He has over 25 years of IT consulting and industry experience, improving his client’s financial, operational, and technology performance. He has led numerous software selections and implementations, operational improvement initiatives, and has served as the program leader for major strategic projects.
John leverages and maximizes the use of technology to enable significant business performance and has assisted more than 100 clients across diverse industries such as consumer and industrial products, financial services, the public sector, and life sciences. He is well-versed in enterprise applications including Oracle EBS, JD Edwards, PeopleSoft, and other standalone systems.
Before joining CohnReznick, John worked as a senior director and client partner for Oracle, Inc. In this role, he designed deployment road maps and approaches that aligned with management’s vision and business objectives. He also worked as a managing director at Model N, Inc. where he was the regional leader of the company’s consulting and system implementation services. He was also an executive director and partner at Grant Thornton LLP where he served as a practice leader for top-tier ERP software solution implementations.
John’s designation includes a certification in production and inventory management (CPIM).
