With nearly 20 years of business transformation experience, Michael Sokorai is a director in CohnReznick Advisory's Technology and Digital Practice. He is focused on the delivery of highly effective and efficient enterprise solutions and understands what it takes to support complex IT initiatives end-to-end, from infrastructure to end-user support.
Michael thinks strategically in aligning technology with business needs in a cost effective manner, including evaluating make vs. buy, cloud vs. on-premise, etc. He leads enterprise system and application development cycles, establishing standards and identifying new tools and methodologies to improve the quality and cost effectiveness in developing and maintaining administrative systems. His expertise includes selection, implementation, and maintenance of enterprise resource planning, customer relationship management, human resource information systems, and business intelligence/analytics application development. His experience also includes compliance and security, data center management, IT infrastructure, database administration, and budget planning and analysis.
Prior to joining CohnReznick, Michael held several executive-level IT positions in the technology, government services, and hospitality industries. In these roles, he led large-scale IT projects, establishing IT strategic vision and goals, managing IT departments and budgets, developing vendor relationships, implementing technology solutions to drive business process efficiencies, and advising executive leadership on IT strategy in line with business growth plans and M&A efforts.
