Colin Rosenberg, CPA, is a Partner in the firm’s National Tax practice with more than 13 years of experience. He works closely with client service partners and their engagement teams to guide them through complex pass-through entity transactions and issues.
Colin also works closely with clients and their council on transaction tax planning including structuring reorganizations, buy/sell transactions, business formations, and liquidations. In conjunction with the tax planning, Colin reviews transaction documents and partnership/LLC agreements to ensure that the economic and tax goals are achieved. His ability to identify issues and bring viable solutions to the table has been crucial to protecting clients’ interests, optimizing tax results, and advising clients on risks.
Additionally, Colin is frequently involved in producing and teaching national and local firm tax technical trainings focused on partnership taxation and tax planning concepts.
Prior to joining the firm’s National Tax practice, Colin was the tax advisor for a large range of clients from small closely held businesses to large national companies in the real estate, construction, manufacturing and distribution, and financial services industries. He was also the tax advisor to the high-net-worth individual owners of these companies.
