Case Study: Building cash flow models for a global manufacturer
CohnReznick created models to optimize a global manufacturing company’s cash decision-making in real time, helping ensure consistent, accurate, and forward-looking data across its global footprint.
Background
A global manufacturer of precision products for the nutrition, health, and food product industries that operates in over 140 countries needed a way to better manage its global cash flow and FX needs on a centralized basis.
What we did
Working closely with the finance teams across six global regions, we designed and built a set of forty fully integrated 13-week cash flow models that linked directly to the client systems and provided visibility into cash needs by region and by country. We also provided the necessary training to maintain and update the projections.
Results
The company was able to utilize the models to optimize its cash decision-making in real time, helping ensure consistent, accurate, and forward-looking data across its global footprint.
