Based in the Midwest, Stephen P. Gilmer is a global IT transformation leader and experienced CISO for multinational, complex, and diversified organizations. With more than 30 years of experience in IT strategic planning, including managing IT talent and culture, he has led large global programs, advised clients and boards on how to improve their security postures, and partnered with clients to form their business cybersecurity strategies.

Steve also has strong technology management experience including cybersecurity, cloud, and operations. He is a Cybersecurity Maturity Model Certification (CMMC) Registered Practitioner (RPO) and a Certified CISO. Steve has served as a CISO at both large, regulated companies undergoing divestitures and mergers and early-stage growth companies. He sits on several data and security advisory boards and has supported the efforts of nation-states to protect their critical infrastructure.
