Reed Dailey works with financial sponsors to create value and maximize their investments across the deal life cycle. He offers a professional portfolio of skills and experiences in commercial, operations, financial management, and merger and acquisition activities, supporting clients in areas including EBITDA growth, operational improvement, digital transformation, and the entire M&A lifecycle.
With more than 20 years of experience, Reed is a multi-dimensional creative thinker and strategic advisor to the Board of Directors, C-Suite, and business executives on the design and implementation of their digital transformation journey. He is recognized for bringing thought leadership and technology expertise to create value through efficiency in core operations and digital capabilities. Reed has managed M&A deals ranging from 100-day planning and post-acquisition integrations to value creation and divestitures: from strategy to implementation. His industry experience includes hospitality, life sciences, manufacturing & distribution, media & entertainment, retail, and technology.
- Distribution & Services: Acted as overall program management lead, activating new e-commerce, enterprise resource management platform, new distribution center, and approx. 500 new team members
- Global Manufacturing: Led the 100-day carve-out efforts focused on vendor selection and talent grading
- Global Manufacturing & Distribution: Oversaw the transformation efforts for new ERP and O365 migration stand-up globally
- Global Manufacturing & Distribution: Workforce Enablement. Developed their communication and collaboration platforms to enable hybrid working across three lines of business for approx. 1,000 employees
- Global Manufacturer: Led the development of a consolidation strategy of 50+ portfolio companies to a standardized technology and process playbook
- Global Life Sciences Organization: Led the development of a mobile customer engagement platform; estimated cost take out of projected 25%; time-to-market enhancements by projected 30%
- Domestic Luxury Retailer: Led the “go digital” strategy to deploy a digital-first channel strategy to align with changing consumer buyer habits
- Middle Market Sponsors: Managed 100+ Information Due Diligences across manufacturing, distribution, retail, hospitality, and technology
- Global Retailer: Designed and delivered the Omni-Channel strategy, bringing together the activation roadmap for e-commerce and 400+ free-standing stores
- Domestic Media and Telco Provider: Oversaw the management of a leading device management app for a domestic carrier, landing on over 100 million customers’ devices
