Pushpita Kotikalapudi is a partner with CohnReznick and has over 15 years of public accounting experience. Her client base includes not-for-profit organizations, real estate developers, and low-income housing tax credit funds and syndicators nationwide. She is involved in all audit functions including audit approach design, evaluation of internal controls, staff supervision, and financial statement review. Pushpita has also been involved with the preparation of OMB Circular A-133 audits requiring compliance test work and tax returns (Form 990 and Form 1065) for all her clients.
In addition to her client-facing role, Pushpita is a Bethesda office liaison for the CohnReznick's WomenCAN initiative and served as a member of the Firm's Learning and Development Committee. She has developed and conducted various training seminars on introduction to audit, risk assessment, internal controls, affordable housing and not-for-profit accounting-related courses, and has been involved in several efficiency and training committees that have improved audit processes and productivity significantly for the Firm. She has also been a speaker at national real estate conferences on affordable housing and tax credit issues.
