Moshe Biderman is a tax partner in the Firm’s Financial Sponsors & Financial Services Industry practice. He has more than 20 years’ experience working in the Alternative and Regulated Investments industry. His clients include hedge funds, private equity partnerships, fund of funds and mutual funds. He works closely with fund principals and advises them on all matters related to the funds, the general partnerships and the management company. His industry knowledge and ability to analyze complex transactions and financial instruments has helped numerous clients minimize their current and future tax costs.

Prior to CohnReznick, Moshe was a tax partner with Marcum LLP’s national Alternative Investments Industry group, with a diverse client base of hedge funds, private equity partnerships, fund of funds, and mutual funds. He began his career at other national accounting firms specializing in Alternative Investments, and has led large compliance teams on engagements totaling more than $10 million. He has advised clients on structuring, consulting on complex transactions, and leading compliance engagements with a variety of strategies, many of which included non-traditional assets such as cannabis, crypto currency and movie production.
