Michael Celkis is a partner with CohnReznick's tax practice. He is responsible for providing domestic tax, financial accounting, and tax consulting services to individuals, corporations, and partnerships in a multitude of industries. He is also responsible for planning and tax compliance reviews for partnerships and corporations with a focus on commercial real estate, low-income housing tax credit projects, and real estate developers.
Mike has broad knowledge and experience in the areas of international tax, multifamily, small businesses, and individual tax planning. He is an expert on the new repair regulations, real estate professional rules, renewable energy incentives, cost segregation studies, 1031 exchanges, and the Texas franchise tax. His clients include experienced developers, not-for-profit housing organizations, and developers new to the industry across the United States.
As a partner in the Austin tax department, Mike's duties involve the planning, supervision, and review of tax compliance matters for a substantial number of individual, partnership, and corporate tax clients.
