Laura Kielczewski is a director in CohnReznick’s Exempt Organizations Tax Services practice. Based in New York, she has more than 23 years of experience providing tax strategy and compliance services to a wide range of tax-exempt organizations. These include HMOs and other healthcare systems, private foundations, higher education institutions, and other not-for-profit organizations.
Laura has extensive federal, state, and local tax experience that includes advising on tax compliance issues, addressing IRS tax controversies, consulting on IRC Section 501(r) policy and compliance matters, unrelated business income planning, and providing guidance on executive compensation issues.
Before joining CohnReznick, Kielczewski was a tax senior manager in the Exempt Organizations Tax Services practice of a Big 4 firm. She also worked as a tax director in the Not-for Profit and Higher Education practices at another large firm.
