Karin Lundquist is a partner in CohnReznick’s Baltimore office with more than 16 years of experience providing audit, assurance, and accounting services to a variety of clients in the real estate and hospitality industries. She has extensive experience working with real estate developers, owners and operators, and management companies of multifamily residential real estate, commercial real estate, and hotels. Over the past decade, Karin has provided an array of assurance services to large portfolios of multifamily real estate assets, independent and boutique hotels, as well as select service and luxury branded hotels. 

Karin has deep knowledge of various tax credit programs and works with numerous developers who utilize these financial tools in structuring their deals. In addition to delivering annual audit services, she has been involved with agreed-upon-procedures engagements, cost certifications, and special-purpose financial reporting. Likewise, Karin often is involved in the entire life cycle of new developments and provides important consulting services during that time, such as acquisition due diligence, construction advisory, tax credit projections, and unwinding of the tax credit structure.  

Karin has been instrumental in building a team of professionals in the Baltimore office that are equipped with the tools, knowledge, and expertise to provide her clients with personalized service to meet the needs and requirements of investors, lenders, regulators, etc.  Karin was influential in creating the firm’s hotel audit methodology and developing an efficient and effective, consistent audit approach.  Additionally, she develops, facilitates, and teaches firm-wide training at local, regional, and national levels.
