Julie McNulty has extensive audit and accounting experience primarily focused on real estate, hospitality, manufacturing and renewable energy. She has been with the firm for more than 20 years.
For real estate clients, Julie provides services to developers and owners, syndicators, investors, property management companies, as well as lenders. Her comprehensive services include property and fund level audits, cost certifications, net operating income and debt service analysis, Section 42 compliance reviews and consulting. Also, she has issued more than 1,000 cost certifications for Section 42 and Section 47 real estate projects. As a credentialed professional in the treatment of development costs, Julie provides her clients with one-on-one educational workshops.
In the hospitality industry, Julie services franchisees, franchisors, multi-unit independent concepts, and full-service hotels by providing audits, reviews and specialty revenue reporting for lessor compliance.
Her savvy and diligent approach also has assisted clients with particularly challenging accounting issues. In 2004, Julie created a specialized accounting department in the Atlanta office that was designed to take on particularly challenging accounting projects that did not fit within standard audit or tax boundaries.
Julie is a member of the firm’s Professional Practice Leader Group, helping to drive solutions for the audit team members. She is a frequent guest lecturer for the University of Georgia’s acclaimed accounting program and is involved in assisting with the Firm’s college and professional recruitment efforts.
