Jason Fleetwood is a partner in CohnReznick’s Hospitality Industry Practice and also provides services to private enterprises. Based in the Bethesda office, he has more than 16 years of experience. His responsibilities include client development, engagement management and oversight, and quality assurance. Jason maintains a high level of personal involvement in all of his engagements, completing all areas of audit and tax engagements, maintaining day-to-day client relationships, and providing advice tailored to each client’s specific needs.
Jason’s clients include hotel owners, hospitality management companies, land developers, home builders, and other hospitality and real estate professionals. He serves these clients by developing annual financial budgets and cash flow projections, assisting with internal control matters and month-end and year-end accounting and closings, and preparing and reviewing corporate, individual, and partnership tax returns.
In addition to providing assurance and tax services, Jason has also provided consulting services on a long-term basis to an international hospitality industry company. These services have included forecasting and budgeting for hotel renovation and construction projects, assisting with project accruals and closings, applying agreed upon procedures to construction cost records, monitoring contract compliance within the procurement industry, and assisting in the determination of annual revenue.
Jason has served as a member of the Loudoun County Fiscal Impact Committee, focusing on the market and fiscal impact analysis of the Phase 2 Metrorail Extension to Loudoun County, Virginia.
