Experience and credentials
Assists affordable housing developers with structuring tax-advantaged real estate developments including the federal and state historic rehabilitation credit, the low-income housing tax credit (LIHTC) and other federal and state-subsidized multifamily housing.
Current client responsibility includes the delivery of financial and compliance audits, tax, and business advisory services to many of CohnReznick's largest clients.
Jim’s audit engagements are frequently subject to HUD and various state audit guides, government auditing standards (GAS), and compliance with government regulations OMB-A133 and various contractual agreements.
Performed numerous mortgage and contractor cost certifications for submission to HUD, and prepares similar reports and LIHTC cost certifications for submission to various state agencies.
