Dana Fried is a managing director with responsibility for the executive compensation and employee benefits aspects of CohnReznick’s Tax Practice on a national basis. He leads the firm's practice in assisting clients with the Employee Retention Credit and has provided executive compensation and employee benefits planning, design/structuring, operational and administrative consulting, and tax-related services to large, medium, and small public companies and privately-held clients in virtually every industry. Dana began his public accounting career in 1982.
Dana regularly assists clients with employment agreements, equity and non-equity incentives, elective and non-elective nonqualified deferred compensation, related reporting and withholding requirements, and retirement, pension, and welfare plans. He has extensive experience in the compensation and employee benefits aspects of mergers and acquisitions transactions including planning, due diligence, structuring, post-transaction integration, and change of control-triggered compensation plans, agreements, and arrangements.
Dana joined CohnReznick after 35 years of practicing in the tax departments of Big 4 accounting firms and prominent national law firms.
