Experience and Credentials

Extensive background providing tax services to businesses in the energy, private equity, real estate, hedge fund, not-for-profit, construction, and technology industries
Experience includes federal, state and local, and international tax planning, research, and compliance
Has provided guidance on a wide array of tax services relating to corporate and partnership structuring including complex partnership allocations, transactional planning and information reporting, due diligence in the context of divestitures and acquisitions and IRS examination support that has resulted in no-change results in complex and high-stakes situations
Highly experienced with treaty planning, transfer pricing issues, expatriate taxation, cost segregation, and financial statement issues under ASC 740
Has led income tax compliance initiatives for private equity funds in the power, real estate, and hedge/financial spaces. Funds grew by over 300% in seven years
Previously served as CFO for a 501(c)(3) Federally Qualified Health Center which underwent OMB Circular A-133 audits
