Anthony La Malfa is an Assurance Partner for CohnReznick’s Commercial Real Estate practice. Based in the NY metro area, he has extensive public accounting experience providing audit and accounting services to public and privately held businesses, primarily in the real estate and real estate finance industries. 

Anthony’s deep real estate expertise includes working in the real estate finance, commercial, retail, and multi-family housing sectors. He serves many different entity structures including public and private REITs, partnerships, and other pass through entities. His assurance expertise includes equities, preferred equity, debt, distressed debt, derivatives, residential and commercial mortgage-backed securities, and trade claims.

Prior to joining CohnReznick, Anthony was a partner in the real estate and hospitality services practice for a major tax, assurance, accounting, and advisory firm. In that role, he served clients that included owners of single commercial properties, developers and operators of low-income housing, real estate partnerships, and large publicly-traded equity and mortgage REITs.
