Michael Ruth is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) and Director of CohnReznick’s Project Finance and Consulting Practice with 10 years of experience providing clients with complex financial modeling, data, and business intelligence (BI) services.
Michael advises clients on various topics related to financial modeling, process improvement, and automation. He started his career in Project Finance where he learned to create complex financial models while advising clients on accretive deal structures. He also has expertise in developing models designed to evaluate various transaction structures, track operating project performance, and improve the efficiencies of clients’ existing financial models and processes. He also has expertise in developing Business Intelligence dashboards that consolidate data from various sources to produce intuitive, visually compelling insights. His responsibilities include understanding client requirements, architecting solutions, and developing these solutions hands-on.
Michael has spoken about financial modeling and analytics during webinars, and has also developed courses where he has presented on a variety of financial modeling and automation best practices . In addition, Michael spent over two years working at an emerging technology company as the Director of Finance for a company focused on data analytics.
