Nicholas Purdy is a CohnReznick assurance partner. He has more than 15 years of experience in public accounting, providing client services in the areas of audit, review, consulting, agreed-upon procedures, compliance, and other accounting and consulting services.

Nick has extensive experience serving a variety of clients with a focus on real estate and employee benefit plans. Within real estate, he serves clients throughout the capital structure – from investment firms to the underlying asset classes – in the commercial, affordable, retail, and industrial sectors. Nick also has experience advising historical GAAP and investment company fund reporting models for REITs as well as other private investment funds.

Nick is responsible for designing the audit approach, selecting audit procedures to be applied, identifying audit issues, evaluating internal controls, supervising staff, executing detail test work, facilitating client communications, and performing financial statement preparation and review. He has deep knowledge of investment company reporting, GAAP, GAAS, PCAOB Department of Labor Regulations, ERISA requirements, and other location-based compliance regulations.
