With nearly 20 years of experience providing assurance and advisory services, Chris is dedicated to serving marquee brands in the restaurant, sports and entertainment, and technology sectors. As a key player in the firm’s Mid-Atlantic Hospitality Industry practice, he oversees a team that provides audit, tax, and value-added services to the restaurant industry that include profitability improvement, operational consulting, capital sourcing, and performance benchmarking.
As a member of the firm’s Hospitality Technology Industry Practice, a niche practice that provides a suite of services to digital technology companies that cater to the hospitality industry, Chris also is the founder of CohnReznick’s Restaurant Technology Summit, an annual conference dedicated to the utilization of technology in the restaurant industry. Throughout his career, he has effectively managed, designed, and executed audits for domestic and multi-national public and privately-held companies, providing detailed analysis and consultations regarding accounting rules and regulations.
Routinely, Chris provides value-added advice to his clients on complex accounting issues involving revenue recognition, debt and equity instruments, share-based payments, and leasing transactions. He also advises on mergers and acquisitions, due diligence projects, internal control assessments, going private transactions, secondary offerings, other-SEC filings, revenue agreements, and debt restructurings.
