Amy Blocker is a partner in the audit department of CohnReznick’s Atlanta office. With a heavy concentration in real estate throughout her career, Amy’s clients include residential and commercial real estate developers, affordable housing real estate syndicators, commercial real estate funds, renewable energy funds, construction companies, and nonprofits.
In connection with her experience in the Low-Income Housing Tax Credit industry, Amy is responsible for supervising audits, reviews, cost certifications (new construction, acquisition, and rehabilitation), agreed-upon procedures reports for the 10% test, break-even analyses, preliminary report of credits, the final report of credits for the operating partnerships, and arbitrage calculations. She also has significant experience assisting clients with TCAP and Exchange deals. Amy works with many of the housing coalitions and is on the board of directors of Mississippi Association of Affordable Housing Providers (MAAHP).
Amy is also responsible for auditing affordable housing syndicators, multi-state affordable housing funds, historic funds, and renewable energy funds. In addition, she is responsible for corporate audits of real estate entities investing and developing mixed-use properties, hotels, condos, and commercial and residential real estate in the international markets. In the construction industry, she has been responsible for audits and reviews for both large and small commercial construction companies.
