Tony is a Partner in CohnReznick’s Financial Sponsors & Financial Services Industry Group and has been providing accounting, auditing, and advisory services to a variety of alternative investment funds since 2005. Tony is responsible for coordinating, managing, and performing audit and other attestation services to domestic and offshore investment partnerships, master-feeder structures, and commodity pools that employ a variety of investment strategies.
Tony's financial instrument exposure includes equities, fixed income, digital currencies, both private equity and debt investments, listed and OTC derivative products, and a heavy focus on structured credit and mortgage products.
Tony participates in developing the firm’s best practice initiatives for valuation, implementation of new accounting and audit literature, and other pertinent industry developments. He also leads CohnReznick's "Pricing Desk" and manages a team who help value all OTC and exchange-traded securities for audit clients. Tony has instructed many in-house professional development seminars and is a featured speaker at various external industry seminars on topics such as valuation and recent accounting developments.
Prior to joining CohnReznick in 2015, Tony spent 10 years at a major firm where he began his tenure servicing alternative investment funds. He also worked at a Big 4 firm for two years as well as spending five years trading equities and options working as a professional proprietary trader while holding his Series 7, 55, 63, and 24 licenses.
