Boston, MA — October 28, 2026 — CohnReznick, a leading professional services firm, today announced that Joanna Powell has joined the firm as a Tax Partner focused on private client services.

Based in the firm's Boston office, Powell brings nearly 20 years of experience advising high-net-worth and ultra-high-net-worth individuals and families on complex tax matters. Her experience includes individual, trust, gift, and partnership taxation, estate and gift planning, and multigenerational wealth transfer strategies. She works closely with clients and their advisors to develop tax-efficient approaches that align with long-term financial and family objectives.

“High-net-worth individuals and families face increasingly complex tax considerations as they plan for the future and manage wealth across generations,” said Dan Kesner, Managing Partner – Private Client Services. “Joanna brings extensive experience in tax planning as well as deep roots and strong relationships in the Boston metro area. We look forward to her helping to deepen our Private Client Services capabilities and the strategic guidance we provide to individuals, family offices, and their family-owned businesses.”

Prior to joining CohnReznick, Powell held tax leadership roles at a leading national accounting and advisory firm, where she oversaw services for high-net-worth individuals and multigenerational families. She earned a master's degree in taxation and a bachelor's degree in business administration from Northeastern University.
