Hasham joins CohnReznick as West Region Leader, Accounting Advisory and IPO

New York, NY – March 15, 2024 – CohnReznick LLP, one of the leading advisory, assurance, and tax firms in the United States, today announced that Mohammad Hasham, CPA, CA, CMA has joined the firm as a West Region Leader, Accounting Advisory and IPO in the firm’s CFO Advisory practice. Based in the San Francisco Bay Area, Hasham has more than 16 years of financial reporting and technical accounting experience providing audit services to both publicly traded and privately held companies. 

Hasham’s diverse experience includes advising on a range of technical accounting and public and private company reporting matters. He assists clients with SPAC transactions, IPOs, implementing ASC 606 revenue recognition and ASC 842 leases, managing SEC filings, and overseeing financial reporting and audit support. With a strong focus on capital markets, he also advises domestic and international companies on a range of issues involved with going public. He has also advised on new accounting standards implementation inclusive of U.S. GAAP, International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS), and Canadian GAAP (ASPE) and has been involved in ERP systems conversions, mergers and acquisitions, and stock-based compensation.

Before joining CohnReznick, Hasham was a Managing Director in a Big 4 firm’s Accounting Advisory Services group. He earned a BBA, Accounting and Finance, from Wilfrid Laurier University in Canada. Hasham is a Certified Public Accountant in California and a Chartered Professional Accountant, Chartered Accountant, and Certified Management Accountant in Canada.
