Thomas Crawford specializes in management and technology consulting, helping companies improve the effectiveness and efficiency of their finance organizations including profitability and cash flow. He has spent more than 25 years leading finance teams and advising publicly traded, privately held, and private equity sponsored businesses on best practices in finance, accounting, and operations.
Tom helps businesses drive finance transformation through the selection and implementation of Corporate Performance Management (CPM) and Integrated Business Planning (IBP) solutions. In this role, he helps clients improve planning, budgeting, forecasting, and reporting processes as well as financial “close to disclose” processes.
Tom has extensive experience assessing and implementing budgeting, planning, and forecasting processes and systems; financial modeling; projections; cash and liquidity planning and management; and performance monitoring/reporting. His services to private equity, venture backed. and growth-oriented companies include buy and sell-side due diligence, raising equity and debt capital, crisis management and turnarounds, market studies, ROI analysis, competitive analysis, and business plan creation. His industry experience includes insurance and banking, technology, government contracting, business and professional services, consumer products, manufacturing and distribution, pharmaceutical, equipment rental, telecommunications, construction and general contracting, hospitality, and retail.
Before entering the consulting arena, Tom held executive and C-level positions in finance and operations including roles with rapidly growing companies as CFO and VP of Finance and Operations. He is currently preparing for certification as a Lean Six Sigma Green Belt.
