As a tax partner and a member of the Private Client Services practice, Steven (Steve) Kreinik has over 20 years of experience providing comprehensive tax consulting and compliance services to family offices, individuals, trusts and estates, and closely held businesses.
Experience and credentials
Certified Public Accountant
Assists clients with estate planning, philanthropy, and charitable giving by advising family offices and other donors on charitable planning including charitable trusts, private foundations, and donor-advised funds
Clients have included all partners in a $20 billion hedge fund; four generations of a large family; and many financial services and real estate clients
In addition to performing tax compliance and advisory services, Steve has extensive experience with tax controversy matters and has represented clients before the IRS, as well as New York and other states
Previous experience includes serving as a tax partner at a top 20 national accounting firm where he was the leader of the Florida region’s Real Estate Industry Group
Additional previous experience includes working with businesses to implement best practices and policies for financial controls and procedures, as well as performing tax consulting and compliance services for high-net-worth individuals and family offices
Steve is a frequent speaker and writer on topics including the Tax Cuts and Jobs Act, Qualified Opportunity Zones, financial planning, and charitable giving
