Julie E. McNulty
As a partner in CohnReznick’s Atlanta office, Julie McNulty has extensive audit and accounting experience primarily focused on renewable energy, real estate and film and tax credit advisory services. She serves as the South Central Region leader for CohnReznick’s Renewable Energy Industry practice and has been with the firm for more than 15 years.
Julie delivers critical audit and tax credit services to renewable energy companies and entities that include auditing renewable energy funds, structuring master tenant leases, auditing a large biomass project and issuing cost certifications for Section 1603 grants. Recently, Julie oversaw the audit for a $100 million renewable energy finance and development company.
For real estate clients, Julie provides property and fund level audits, cost certifications, net operating income and debt service analyses, Section 42 compliance reviews and consulting. She has issued more than 900 cost certifications for Section 42 and Section 47 real estate projects. Julie leads the Atlanta office work with media and entertainment tax credits, issuing cost certifications required for Section 48 tax credits and the Georgia Entertainment Industry Tax Credit.
Julie is a member of CohnReznick’s National Learning Committee, delivering programs to develop the skills of audit team members. She is a frequent guest lecturer for the University of Georgia’s acclaimed accounting program and is involved in assisting with the firm’s college and professional recruitment efforts.
