Kemi Sulaimon joins CohnReznick as M&A insurance advisory managing director

Kemi Sulaimon joins CohnReznick as a Managing Director in the firm’s M&A Insurance Advisory practice, advising clients on representations and warranties insurance claims and related post-closing disputes.

October 9, 2026 - CohnReznick, a leading professional services firm, today announced that Kemi Sulaimon (Opens a new window) has joined the firm as a Managing Director in its M&A Insurance Advisory practice.

Sulaimon advises clients on representations and warranties insurance (RWI) claims and related post-closing disputes. She analyzes complex accounting and financial issues arising from post-closing claims, including evaluating alleged breaches of financial representations and warranties, quantifying loss, and assessing the underlying accounting and financial reporting matters.

“Representations and warranties insurance has become an increasingly important tool for managing transaction risk, and clients need advisors who understand both the deal process and the complexities that can arise after closing,” said Brett Burgan, M&A Insurance Advisory and Restructuring & Dispute Resolution Services Leader - CohnReznick Advisory LLC. “Kemi brings a strong combination of transaction advisory experience and claims expertise, which will further strengthen our ability to help clients navigate and resolve complex RWI matters.”

With a decade of experience leading buy-side and sell-side financial due diligence, Sulaimon has advised private equity firms, strategic investors, lenders, and founder-owners on middle-market transactions. Her experience includes quality of earnings analyses, working capital and profitability assessments, and other transaction advisory services.
