New York, NY – Aug. 21th, 2026 – CohnReznick, a leading professional services firm, announced today that Anush Nersisyan (Opens a new window)and Jackie Richman, Directors in the firm’s Los Angeles office, have been named to the Los Angeles Business Journal’s 2026 Women of Influence: Accounting list. 

The recognition highlights outstanding women leaders in accounting based on their professional achievements, community leadership, milestones, and notable contributions to the industry. 

Nersisyan has built a distinguished 15-year career in public accounting, with deep experience in financial services and alternative investments, including private credit, real estate funds, private equity funds, hedge funds, and management companies. She focuses on public capital markets transactions, including participating in 17 public offerings related to Special Purpose Acquisition Companies. She has also led the firm’s fraud and cybersecurity consultation group and advised engagement teams on complex risk areas, internal control matters, and emerging cybersecurity topics. 

In addition to her client service and technical leadership, Nersisyan has helped drive consistency, efficiency, training, and innovation across CohnReznick’s financial services practice. She is actively involved in mentoring and professional development through technical training, one-on-one coaching, and engagement support. She is also a member of the Association for Corporate Growth Rising Stars program and CohnReznick’s Executive Women’s Forum, and supports community initiatives including autism awareness, cancer awareness, and charitable efforts serving underserved communities in Armenia. 

Richman has spent more than 10 years in public accounting and has developed deep expertise in CohnReznick’s not-for-profit industry practice, supporting organizations across federal and state programs, higher education, foundations, healthcare, and social services. She has guided clients through challenging audits and a constantly evolving compliance landscape while helping strengthen the financial and operational management of organizations serving local communities. 

Richman has also contributed to CohnReznick’s learning and development efforts through local, national, and industry-specific training, including leadership in the firm’s New Manager Program. She serves as a one-on-one performance coach for younger professionals and has supported technology advancement through software implementation pilots, feedback, and rollout efforts. Beyond the firm, she participated in the Association for Corporate Growth Rising Stars program, co-leads CohnReznick’s Executive Women’s Forum program, serves on the advisory board of a local healthcare nonprofit, and helps organize volunteer events with local nonprofit organizations.
