Mathias joins CohnReznick as Affordable Housing tax partner

New York, NY – May 1, 2024 – CohnReznick LLP, one of the leading advisory, assurance, and tax firms in the United States, today announced that Ryder Mathias, CPA, has joined the firm as a tax partner in its Affordable Housing practice – the firm’s largest.

Based in Charlotte, Mathias has nearly 15 years of experience providing tax services to clients across the community development spectrum. With a focus in tax-incentivized real estate inclusive of tax planning and compliance, Mathias is also well-versed in partnership and individual tax.

Before joining CohnReznick, Mathias was a tax partner at an accounting and advisory firm serving real estate clients. He earned a Masters in Accounting from The University of North Carolina at Charlotte and a BA, Communications, from Wake Forest University. Mathias is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the North Carolina Association of Public Accountants.
