The lab will serve as the nerve center for a variety of incident response solutions to help businesses identify the nature and extent of a cyber incident, collect and preserve digital evidence, and put steps in place to safeguard against future cyber-attacks and breaches.

Led by CohnReznick Advisory Principal David Sun, who has 25 years of advanced cybersecurity and digital forensics experience, the lab and team will help organizations involved in a cyber incident:

• Gather and preserve digital evidence from devices and systems impacted by the incident
• Construct a timeline of events and identify the methods used by attackers
• Identify the root cause and nature of the incident
• Help the business comply with breach notification mandates and regulations
• Help recover lost or compromised data

• Provide expert witness testimony if litigation is an outcome of the incident
