CohnReznick expands West Coast footprint and wealth advisory through Aldrich acquisition

CohnReznick expands its West Coast footprint and wealth advisory services with the acquisition of Aldrich CPAs + Advisors and Aldrich Wealth.

New York, NY – (October 13, 2026) – CohnReznick, a leading professional services firm, today announced a strategic acquisition of the Aldrich group of companies, comprised of Aldrich CPAs + Advisors ($100M+ revenues) and Aldrich Wealth ($8B assets under advisement). The transaction is expected to close in mid-December 2026.

Aldrich is one of the 10 largest firms headquartered on the West Coast, creating a significant expansion for CohnReznick’s geographic footprint. In addition to 500+ professionals and 48 partners, Aldrich brings offices in Spokane, Washington; Portland (Lake Oswego) and Salem, Oregon; Carlsbad, Mission Valley, and Orange County, California; Salt Lake City, Utah; and expanded presence in San Diego and Denver. The team also strengthens CohnReznick’s industry capabilities across Private Client Services, Construction, Telecom, M&D (Agribusiness), and more to create significant growth opportunity for the combined organization.

“This is a significant milestone in CohnReznick’s growth and an important investment in our future,” said David Kessler (Opens a new window), CEO, CohnReznick Advisory LLC. “Aldrich brings exceptional talent, strong market leadership, and highly complementary capabilities, including a wealth management platform that creates an important new avenue for growth and expands the solutions we can bring to clients. I’m very excited about this expansion on the West Coast, strengthening our ability to serve clients in some of the most dynamic markets and industries in the country, and creating even greater opportunities for our people.”

“For more than 50 years, the decisions we have made at Aldrich have been guided by what is best for our people, our clients, and our communities,” said John Lauseng, CEO + Partner, Aldrich. “Joining CohnReznick gives our people greater opportunities to grow, expands the capabilities and resources we can bring to our clients, and allows us to build on the relationships, culture, and commitment to our communities that have defined Aldrich. We are excited about what we can accomplish together, particularly as Aldrich becomes the cornerstone of CohnReznick’s new West Region.”

“Our clients have always been at the center of how we make decisions, and that was an important consideration throughout this process,” said Heather Wonderly, CEO, Aldrich Wealth. “Joining CohnReznick gives us the opportunity to build on the highly personal, fiduciary approach our clients value while expanding the resources and capabilities we can bring to individuals, families, business owners, and retirement plan sponsors. Aldrich Wealth becoming the platform for CohnReznick’s wealth management business creates an exciting opportunity to build on what our team has created and expand the impact we can make for our clients and our people.”

This is the latest in a number of important expansion efforts that CohnReznick has made in the past year, recently opening offices in Houston, TX (Opens a new window); Minneapolis, MN (Opens a new window); San Francisco, CA (Opens a new window); Tampa (Opens a new window) and Tallahassee, FL (Opens a new window); and Richmond, VA (Opens a new window).
