CohnReznick to grow Texas presence through combination with BKM Sowan Horan

(October 18, 2022 - New York, NY) – CohnReznick, a leading advisory, assurance, and tax firm, today announced a combination with BKM Sowan Horan (BKMSH), a prestigious Dallas, Texas based diversified accounting, tax, and advisory firm. The transaction, which is expected to close on November 1, 2022, represents a strategic investment in Texas for CohnReznick to support current and future client needs. As a result of the combination, CohnReznick will now have more than 80 employees in Dallas in addition to their team of 140 in Austin–collectively experienced in a variety of industries and services including transaction advisory, infrastructure consulting, and tax credit advisory.  

BKMSH partners Rick Sowan and Mike Barber will lead the Dallas growth strategy and client and people experiences locally along with founding partners Tim Horan, Trey Kennedy, and Brad Marckx.
