CohnReznick and Bloomberg New Energy Finance are hosting an exclusive, invitation-only Executive Luncheon on November 20th at the Ritz Carlton in Charlotte. Three separate, in-depth discussions focusing on renewable energy in the southeastern US, with an emphasis on distributed solar, biomass, and tax equity financing throughout North Carolina.

During our initial discussion, Bloomberg New Energy Finance analysts will present recent research on the US clean energy market and on the economics and opportunities for distributed solar and biomass in the southeastern US, and, in particular, North Carolina.

In the second phase of our luncheon discussion, CohnReznick renewable energy professionals will analyze the unique tax equity structures available to make solar projects increasingly attractive in North Carolina.

The third part of our program will feature key experts of the North Carolina solar market discussing the financing opportunities, strategies, policies and overall outlook for this critical market.

Tim Kemper is a CohnReznick partner and the National Co-leader of the firm's Renewable Energy Industry practice. Tim is actively engaged in providing clients with financial counsel related to all aspects of typically complicated transactions including tax credits, financial structuring and modeling, underwriting, valuation, capital infusion, due diligence and grant advisory services. His client base includes investors, entrepreneurs, developers, manufacturers and installers and independent power producers utilizing technologies such as wind, solar, geothermal, biomass and energy efficiency. Tim also is involved in associations and regulatory bodies that influence and affect policy in the renewable energy industry as well as speaking on the subject at numerous national and regional conferences.
