With more than 26 years of experience, Mary Beth Norwood is an audit partner in CohnReznick’s Baltimore office and serves as the Firm’s Audit/Assurance Real Estate Practice Leader. She provides audit, tax, and business advisory services to various organizations in the real estate and nonprofit industries. Mary Beth represents a range of businesses in the real estate industry and her national client base includes not-for-profit and for-profit real estate owners, developers and syndicators, commercial office and retail properties, hotels, assisted living facilities, multi-family properties including HUD and state subsidized projects, low-income housing tax credit (LIHTC) and historic tax credit projects, and multi-family market rate properties.

Her services range from consolidating and combining audited financial statements in accordance with various reporting requirements such as HUD and OMB Circular A-133, to mortgagor, contractor, and tax credit cost certifications in accordance with federal or state agency reporting requirements. Mary Beth regularly provides consulting services for real estate concerns in the structuring and acquisition of projects, due diligence, and compliance with HUD, LIHTC, and historic tax credit programs.
