Nathan brings more than 25 years of experience serving private equity-backed, publicly traded, and founder-led companies. Most recently, Nathan served as a consultant with HL&B, advising private equity portfolio companies and executive leadership teams on mergers and acquisitions, business combinations, audit readiness, technical accounting, financial reporting, and internal control matters.

Prior to HL&B, Nathan spent more than two decades with BDO USA, including serving as an Assurance Partner. Throughout his career, he has advised clients on complex accounting and reporting matters, SEC compliance, internal controls, debt and equity transactions, business combinations, and capital markets activities, including initial public offerings, secondary offerings, and private placements of debt and equity. Nathan's experience spans renewable energy, oil and gas, oilfield services, EPC, manufacturing, and life sciences, with a primary focus on private equity-backed and publicly traded companies.

Spent more than two decades as an Assurance Partner with a top five public accounting firm advising clients on complex accounting and reporting matters, SEC compliance, internal controls, debt and equity transactions, business combinations, and capital markets activities, including initial public offerings, secondary offerings, and private placements of debt and equity across industries including renewable energy, oil and gas, oilfield services, EPC, manufacturing, and life sciences.

Expertise extends to alternative investment businesses involving fair value accounting including private equity, fund of funds, and investment advisors

Conducts multi-national integrated audits for Fortune 500 commercial real estate entities and public real estate investment trusts
