Kathryn Rice is the practice leader for CohnReznick’s National Transfer Pricing practice and serves clients domestically and globally. With more than 20 years of dedicated transfer pricing experience, she helps U.S. and foreign-based multinational businesses minimize risk through compliance with applicable transfer pricing regulations. Kathryn has served a wide variety of industries, including automotive, chemical and industrial products, construction, consumer/luxury goods, financial services, healthcare, hospitality, professional services, real estate, and technology/telecommunications.
Kathryn’s scope of services includes global documentation studies, planning analyses, Advance Pricing Agreements, FIN 48 reviews, audit defense, state transfer pricing, headquarter cost allocation, and cost-sharing. She also spent several years in Washington, D.C., focusing on audit defense and other transfer pricing controversy.
She is a past member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA) International Taxation Technical Resource Panel, which monitors legislative and regulatory developments for significant international tax issues, including cross-border tax planning. Kathryn is also a Certified Public Accountant in New York, Illinois, Indiana, Maryland, and the District of Columbia.
