John Eusanio is a partner in CohnReznick’s New York office and a member of the Firm’s Not-for-Profit and Education Industry and Healthcare Industry practices. He has nearly 20 years of experience in public accounting and has provided accounting and auditing services to a wide variety of clients. These include social service organizations, state and local governmental entities, higher education institutions, healthcare providers, community and teaching hospitals, long-term care facilities, academic medical centers, and other not-for-profit entities.
In addition to providing financial statement audit services to his various healthcare clients, John also has significant experience with accounting and auditing matters related to tax-exempt bond offerings, OMB Circular A-133 audits, bad debt and charity care agreed-upon procedures, employee benefit plans, and New York State cost report attestations.
Prior to joining CohnReznick, John worked for a Big 4 accounting firm where he completed a three-year national rotation assisting engagement teams servicing governmental and not-for-profit clients. In this capacity, he provided technical accounting and auditing support in areas such as investments, fair value, consolidations, restatements, and pensions. He was also responsible for the development and delivery of core firm training materials for governmental, higher education, healthcare, and not-for-profit industry professionals,and for updating that firm’s accounting and auditing literature.
