Jeffrey Bernstein is a retired partner and consultant with CohnReznick and advises the Firm’s Tax Practice Executive Committee. He specializes in corporate, partnership, and individual income taxation and was the founder of the Firm’s Tax Specialty Services Group. Jeffrey’s experience includes advising both publicly traded and privately-held companies and structuring partnership and limited liability company agreements. He assists clients in evaluating the tax impact of business decisions and the potential effects of proposed tax legislation on the operation of their businesses.
Jeffrey primarily works with the Firm’s larger clients (with revenues of $100 million to over $1 billion) and has extensive experience working with corporations and partnerships that conduct business in multiple states. He regularly addresses professional groups and industry associations on tax issues and he has also developed and instructed in-house tax training programs for CohnReznick’s professional staff. Jeffrey has had articles published on various subjects including LLCs, corporate tax planning, passive activity losses, and cost segregation studies.
