As Director of Financial Planning at affiliated company CohnReznick Wealth Management LLC, John Dugan works with clients to implement a strategy to achieve their financial goals. This includes creating and delivering a comprehensive financial plan with a blueprint to reach these goals. He provides independent, objective advice and guidance on the proper resources to help clients execute their financial plans.

John also serves as Director of Insurance for CohnReznick Wealth Management where he oversees the insurance operations for the firm. This includes expanding and deepening client relationships by leveraging beneficial insurance products and services. John specializes in helping clients better understand their insurance policies, so they are purchasing the right type of insurance to fulfill a particular need at the most competitive price. He clarifies the process of acquiring insurance and conducts policy reviews of existing contracts to help clients understand the coverage in force and decide if and how benefits can be maximized.

Following a career in law enforcement, John entered the financial services industry and has spent the past 31 years in several roles including retail financial services and management roles at Morgan Stanley, UBS, MetLife, and Nationwide Insurance. He also served as vice president of business development at Zenith Marketing Group (now Ash Brokerage).

John holds life and health insurance licenses in several states across the United States. He has won numerous awards throughout his career, including the UBS Award for Service Excellence and the William Kennedy Award for Excellence for the UBS Leadership Management and Development Program for Branch Managers. As a retail advisor, he has also achieved club-level production at UBS (Pacesetters Award) and Provident Mutual (PMLA and Top 50 Agents Award).
