Zeger rejoins CohnReznick as Trusts & Estates leader

New York, NY – February 11, 2021 – CohnReznick LLP, one of the leading advisory, assurance, and tax firms in the United States, today announced that Sahri D. Zeger, JD, MBA, has rejoined the firm as Principal and leader of the Trusts & Estates group.  She has more than 20 years of experience as a tax attorney and trusted advisor to wealthy individuals, families, and successful business owners.

Zeger has extensive expertise in addressing the wealth preservation and estate planning goals of high-net-worth clients. This includes developing sophisticated tax strategies and multi-generational estate plans to meet business, succession, and charitable goals. She has comprehensive technical knowledge of estate and gift reporting rules and extensive experience in identifying exposure points. 

Before joining CohnReznick, Zeger was a principal in a Boston-based accounting, tax, and advisory firm, providing tax compliance, fiduciary planning, estate, trust, private foundation, and gift tax services to wealthy families and individuals. Before this, she was a senior manager in CohnReznick’s Trusts & Estates group, based in Boston.

Zeger earned a JD from The University of Connecticut School of Law and an MBA from the University of Connecticut. She is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, the Massachusetts Society of Certified Public Accountants, and serves on the Boston Estate Planning Council’s Council Outreach Committee.
