    Deals: In 2019, our Transactional Advisory Services team worked on more than 250 deals valued at over $8 billion.

    Team: We expanded to 50 team members, and with the promotion of Sedic Ampanas and Natalie Tronkina, our partner count is up to eight. We saw several promotions at the manager and senior manager level, and increased our team’s presence in Miami. 

    Insights: During the year, our team published a number of reports and articles. We’ve highlighted a few that might be useful long-term resources for you in the “Related insights” column on the right of this page (or, for mobile readers, at the bottom of this article).

    Mission: Complete our work in a flexible, cost-effective, timely manner so our clients can close deals with minimal disruption to their investors and management teams.

    Honors and achievements

    CohnReznick earned both firm and individual honors from the Global M&A Network: The firm was named USA Transactions Advisor of the Year – Middle Markets and Claudine Cohen, Principal, Transactional Advisory Services – Northeast Market Leader, was among 22 Top Women Dealmakers from across the private equity, lending, restructuring, M&A financial advisory, and legal transactional professions.  Additionally, Claudine was named to Mergers and Acquisitions 2019 list of the most influential women in mid-market M&A.  

    CohnReznick was for the first time named “Best Fund Accounting Firm” in the Private Equity Wire USA Awards, which honor managers, investors, consultants, advisers, and service providers across the PE space.

    Finally, for the sixth consecutive year, CohnReznick was named to the Accounting MOVE Project’s Best Accounting Firms for Women list, which recognized 14 firms that had proven success with four key survey factors – Money, Opportunity, Vital supports, and Entrepreneurship – as well as a high proportion of women at most or all management levels. Women make up one-third of CohnReznick’s management committee, and 40% of our Transaction Advisory Services team.
