Cynthia Romano named to ABF Journal’s “Top Women in Asset-Based Lending”
NEW YORK, NY, April 21, 2021 — Cynthia Romano, Global Director of the CohnReznick LLP Restructuring and Dispute Resolution practice, has been named by the ABF Journal as one of the “Top Women in Asset-Based Lending.” This recognition, published in the most recent issue spotlighting diversity & inclusion, honors the most influential women in the industry and highlights the skills and motivations driving their career path.
Romano is responsible for the strategic growth, client relations, marketing, and talent development of her practice at CohnReznick. She has more than 25 years of experience in performance improvement, turnaround management, transaction support, and investment analysis with award-winning expertise in liquidity management, profit improvement, operational restructuring, organizational and process redesign, capital sourcing, and business and creditor workout/management. She faces complex challenges with an unwavering focus on quality, client service, and results.
Throughout her career, Romano’s approach to successful turnarounds begins with the philosophy that rejections and setbacks are the start of a conversation and not the end. From her start as an entrepreneur in the technology sector, Romano began to develop an affinity for problem-solving and achieving what others said could not be done. Romano received a Bachelor of Arts degree in Educational History and Policy from Brown University, and a Master of Business Administration in International Management from the MIT Sloan School of Management.
