Protecting Privacy in Digital Spaces

What does data privacy mean today? Mobile connectivity and social media can provide rich insights into just about anyone’s personal life. As social listening and IoT proliferate, B2C businesses are investing in data analytics that can improve the customer experience. It’s no different in commercial real estate. CRE companies are using analytics to tap into intimate information about how we live, work, and play. As CRE begins to parse data to deliver the experiences that space occupiers demand, they will need to protect the personal information collected throughout the course of business. That will require a renewed commitment to data privacy.
