CohnReznick Names Tama Huang Firm’s First Chief Innovation Officer
NEW YORK, NY – November 30, 2018 – CohnReznick LLP, one of the leading advisory, assurance, and tax firms in the United States, has announced that Tama Huang, Principal and the Firm’s Global Real Estate Advisory Services Leader, has become CohnReznick’s first-ever Chief Innovation Officer.
In her new role, Huang will drive CohnReznick’s forward-thinking culture to generate new ideas and processes, and identify the emerging technologies that will reshape the U.S. and global economies, drawing from her years of business transformation experience across major industries.
“My focus will be to continue to build CohnReznick as a leader in advancing the client experience and the strategic value we bring clients through innovation. Our profession, like the global economy, is rapidly evolving with new technologies disrupting old models. We need to be at the forefront of change management for our clients and to position ourselves as strategic advisors,” said Huang.
Huang will also work closely with other Firm leaders to innovate through global strategic alliances and partnerships. She is planning a series of listening and development tours during her transition to Chief Innovation Officer, which she will assume fully in early 2019.
“Innovation is not only important to firm growth and excellent client service – it’s essential to creating a firm culture where our people can grow and do their best work. We are excited to leverage Tama’s considerable talent, deep industry knowledge and proven record to help us elevate and better leverage innovation both for our firm and the clients we serve,” said Frank Longobardi, CohnReznick’s Chief Executive Officer.
Huang founded NOI Strategies in 2003, a global consulting firm specializing in commercial real estate (CRE) and serving many of the world’s largest CRE firms. Huang joined CohnReznick as a Principal after CohnReznick acquired NOI Strategies in 2015, becoming a division of the Firm’s Advisory practice.
Her background in linguistics and data science have given Huang a distinct advantage in analyzing and forecasting business trends across multiple industries, including global real estate, biotechnology, pharmaceuticals, and insurance. She has directed numerous improvement projects in Europe and North America, managed the development and implementation of enterprise-wide financial applications, and designed and deployed business intelligence solutions.
