CohnReznick Announces Senior Leadership Appointments

    New York (Jan. 22, 2019) - CohnReznick LLP, one of the leading advisory, assurance, and tax firms in the United States, has made the following key leadership appointments:

    Gary Levy, CPA, has been named Chief Strategy and Growth Officer, reporting to Frank Longobardi, CEO. Levy is responsible for leading industry strategy to drive profitable growth and world-class client service; as well as strategic alignment across CohnReznick’s industries, geographies, and practices. He also oversees Marketing & Business Development, with a focus on aligning growth goals across the firm. Levy most recently served as Managing Partner of CohnReznick’s Consumer, Hospitality, and Manufacturing Practice, working closely with leading Private Equity Funds, Investment Bankers and companies in these industries.

    Phil Mandel, CPA, CFP, has been named Chief Operating Officer, also reporting to the CEO, with whom he’ll work closely to lead management and administration of the firm, focusing on operational efficiency and translating strategic vision into action. Mandel has 30 years of leadership, accounting, auditing, tax, and consulting experience. A member of the firm’s Executive Board, he served for three years as CohnReznick’s Regional Managing Partner for the Northeast.

    Cindy McLoughlin, CPA, has been named Managing Partner – Consumer, Hospitality, and Manufacturing Practice. McLoughlin is responsible for leading strategy, driving growth, and developing services and industry specific solutions for the practice. She will continue as leader of CohnReznick’s Hospitality practice. McLoughlin has more than 20 years of experience, including specialization in SEC audit requirements for public companies and audit services for large and private equity-backed hospitality portfolio companies. 

    Alan Wolfson, CPA, has been named Regional Managing Partner (RMP) – Northeast, reporting to the CEO. In this role, he leads growth strategy and management for the region, including management of clients, employees and financial strategy as well as direct oversight of the region’s seven Office Managing Partners (OMPs). A member of CohnReznick’s Executive Board, Wolfson was previously OMP of the New York City office. 

    Jay Levy, CPA, has been named Office Managing Partner (OMP) of CohnReznick’s New York City office, the firm’s headquarters. Levy is responsible for driving revenue and growth for the New York City office and for setting strategy that ensures client service excellence. He also serves as Financial Services Industry Leader. Levy has more than 35 years of audit, tax, and consulting experience, working with an array of financial services clientele.
