Leadership means taking a direct role in shaping the industries we serve and the accounting practices we follow. Whether communicating our viewpoint on proposed governmental policies, providing guidance to address new accounting pronouncements, or serving on a panel of experts at a national industry conference, CohnReznick takes a leadership role in creating the pathway that moves our client businesses ahead.
CohnReznick on Capitol Hill
With a long legacy in affordable housing and tax credits, we regularly meet with Members of Congress and the Administration to advocate for fair housing policies, provide insights into current issues, and share our opinions on the impact of existing regulations or proposed legislation.
Shaping our industry – and the industries we serve
We are frequently called upon by the Financial Accounting Standards Board (FASB), the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA) and other accounting industry organizations to serve on boards and advisory committees, participate in select task forces, and provide commentary on proposed changes to U.S. accounting standards and guidelines.
We are active members of coalitions and associations that serve our clients’ industries, moderate and participate in discussion groups at industry events and roundtables, serve on editorial boards for leading industry publications, and meet with the press to comment on critical issues impacting our industries – from cybersecurity to international tax policy to renewable energy legislation.
