  • Transaction-related valuations

    We perform valuations and related services to help stakeholders prepare for a transaction. Our services range from market studies and restructuring valuations to related party fee reasonableness opinions.

  • Financial reporting

    We provide valuation services for financial reporting purposes in accordance with US GAAP and International Accounting Standards. These include Fair Value Measurement (ASC 820 and IFRS 13), business combination purchase price allocations (ASC 805 and IFRS 3) and asset acquisitions, leases (ASC 842), and portfolio valuations (ASC 946).

  • Complex financial instruments (CFIs)

    We routinely perform valuations and create customized models for complex financial instruments (CFIs) including stock-based compensation, earn-outs and contingent liabilities, debt instruments, and warrants. We also provide customized valuations for ASC 815, ASC 470, corporate income tax, estate tax and other tax reporting requirements.

  • Tax-related valuations

    We provide business valuation services that support tax planning and tax reporting compliance. Our tax-focused valuations are used for gift and estate tax planning and reporting, charitable contributions, equity-based (deferred) compensation under IRC 409A, corporate restructuring, defense against IRS challenges, and more.

  • Expert witness testimony

    We provide expert witness and rebuttal testimony, economic analysis, and other services to attorneys and their clients involved in litigation and disputes. Our valuation professionals have an excellent track record in matters involving shareholder disputes, eminent domain, personal property taxes, insurable values, and bankruptcy/distressed situations.
